USTA — Local Courts Campaign

The USTA came to us wanting to drive interest in the sport at the local level. Pro tennis was thriving but they saw an opportunity to tap into the sport in places away from the lights and expensive tournaments—the local courts.

Our research found that many participants not only loved the game, but they often saw it as more than swinging the racket. For many it was an escape. For some, it was “me time.” For others, it was a distraction. So we tapped into this by positioning the local court as something far more than chasing a fuzzy, yellow ball around.
